Bob Evans Food review.
I eat at this restaurant all the time, not sure why I’ve never reviewed it. Sometimes its like that. Took my Mom there for lunch after an Ikea run and she told me she had never been there. Our waitress was very sweet, we both ordered tea and she kept the hot water flowing. This is very rare, sadly. I ordered the 3 cheese burger and Mom the broasted chicken meal. They had a special going for a three course meal for $9.99. I would have gotten something off of that menu, but their burgers are everything, and it wasn’t an option.
Mom started with a salad and I swiped one of her endless rolls. I couldn’t even get a picture, because they were so good, we’d gobble them up before I had a chance, lol!
Our food arrived quickly. We’d gotten there at a good time, after lunch & before the dinner rush. My burger was a thing of beauty, and the baked potato was huge! Both were well cooked and the burger came with no sauce, but the bun was buttered perfectly, so it didn’t need mayo. The potato was fluffy and good and I was happy it came with real butter, not a butter like substance. I eat this burger about once every two weeks and it never disappoints. This was my first time getting a baked potato instead of fries and it was just as delicious.
Mom dug into her chicken and enjoyed it. It came with 2 thighs and a leg, other than my husband, I don’t know many people who can eat that much chicken in one setting. My Mom was in heaven with her mashed potatoes and gravy. They kept the rolls coming and she was dipping them until the plate was clean.
The meal came with a desert, but we were both stuffed, so she opted for the chocolate chip cookie to go. Our bill was only $24.00 and we had two pieces of chicken and a cookie to take home to feed my Dad. Awesome!
