Cafe DeSales Food review

Cafe DeSales Food review.

I’ve driven by this place a few times, and its usually packed.  I finally ventured in for lunch and I get it.  It has a welcoming feel to it and like most coffee houses, it has a steady back ground noise of people talking and the espresso machine going.  I liked that they had a selection of pastries to choose from and that you could still order breakfast all day.  I decided on the bacon egg crescent sandwich.  It was pretty good, hot and ready quick.  I paired it with a fruit cup and ordered a cafe au lait.  I was a bit surprised that my total was $9, but I guess that’s what lunch & a coffee costs.  I haven’t been buying coffee as much lately, so I forget that its $3.50 a cup.  Either way, it turns out it was pretty tasty coffee.  I took it to go, and it really was the perfect lunch.  Light and just enough food.  I loved the crescent, and the bacon and egg in the afternoon had me feeling like I was cheating on lunch.  I loved the fruit cup, it had a combo of fruit that was fresh and tasted great, sadly that’s rare.  Great food, I’ll be back.
