Happy’s Pizza Review

Happy’s Pizza Review.

I’ve eaten here a few times, but haven’t reviewed.  For years I had driven by this place, not quite understanding its premise.  Its a pizza place, but no one I know has actually eaten the pizza.  The ribs come highly recommended.  I decided to give them a try, ordering a rib tips and chicken wing meal, it was a Friday night, lol!  I called it in on my way home and realized they had a drive through I had never used.  I didn’t have to get out the car.  Score!  I waited there just a bit, but the guy apologized profusely.  I wasn’t really in a hurry, but I appreciated the sentiment.

I got home and opened my box.  The wings were whole wings and fried really crispy which I liked.  There were a ton of rib tips and fries in the middle and it came with a slice of garlic bread.  I believe it was 12.99 and came with a small cole slaw, which I never eat unless I know the maker personally.  No shade, it just is what it is.  It was a ton of food for me, especially without something green to balance out all the fried food.  I ate about three rib tips, one wing, half the fries and half the garlic bread.  I felt like it was a sharable meal.  I wasn’t so sure about the garlic bread with the wings, but it was good to sop up the barbecue sauce with the rib tips.  The tips were by far the star of the meal, they were tender and meaty and the sauce was really good.  The wings were pretty good too, very crispy like I liked and huge!  Overall this was a very masculine meal which I enjoyed.  I think next time, I’d get the tips alone and eat with steamed veggies, lol!
