Macaron Bar Review
I have heard a lot about the Macaron Bar. I have been meaning to try them out for a while, but I thought they might be hyped up. They are not. I stopped in while on main and got a half dozen mixed. It wasn’t cheap. $13, but I had to try them out. They are gorgeous. Almost looking too good to eat, lol! I chose the birthday cake, black raspberry chocolate, red velvet, lemon lavender, accidentally two of the madagascar vanilla. I meant to get a coffee, and I thought I had already selected one.
First bite I was not ready for how light and fluffy they were. Each with a unique taste and flavor. The birthday cake was fun and light. The filling was so decadent. I am pretty cheap, but these taste expensive, well worth their price. Great quality, and they are sweet, so you can’t really eat much at a time. I tasted 3 with tea and had to wait a few hours to eat the rest. The red velvet and black raspberry chocolate were amazing. My favorites by far. I thought the lemon lavender would be my favorite, but it was just okay. The lavender flavor was a bit overwhelming to taste. The vanilla was delicious, it had a fresh taste. Overall, I would highly recommend trying these. They would be an amazing finish to a dinner party or any time you want to impress guests. I bow down to their pastry chef, I had no idea what he was working with!
