Nashville Hot Food Review.
I was invited to Nashville Hot for Lunch and I was excited to check out a new restaurant! They are located in Crescent Springs, which is right down 71/75, just inside the 275 loop. So I lived in Nashville for years in college, and I had never tried hot chicken. Probably because I’m such a wimp with hot foods, lol! What I appreciate about this place is you can adjust the spice level. So I went with the yankee mild and it was the perfect amount of spice and heat without being overwhelming. If you like spicy foods, you could go as spicy as you like.
I ordered the chicken and waffles with sweet potato fries, I thought this was a great mix of sweet & savory. The chicken was phenomenal! Hand breaded and tastes like somebodies Granny made it in their kitchen. Three full wings came with the meal, and two was plenty for me. I appreciate a place that serves full wings, none of those wingdings round these parts. The waffle was just the right touch, dipped in the syrup it was a great compliment to the chicken. The sweet potato fries rounded things out. They were good, but all together it was a ton of food! I definitely needed a to go box. The meal was certainly sharable sized.
To my delight, the manager, who was super nice, brought out a sample of their cobbler of the day. IT WAS EVERYTHING. Sorry for yelling, but I want you to take notice. It was homemade and the perfect blend of sweet, soft, deliciousness. It was pear, and topped with vanilla ice cream. I am so glad I saved room for it, because it was to die for! The cobbler changes, so I’m excited to see what other flavors they come up with, but do yourself a favor, try it!
This place as low key, fun and the food was incredible. I can’t wait to head back.
My meal was huge!
Came with ranch & Syrup, and odd combination, but it worked.
Loved the chill decor and laid back feeling
I want to eat this cobbler every day, all day.
The have Abita!
I ordered the yankee mild, ya’ll know I don’t like my food too hot!
