Parker’s Tavern Food review

Parker’s Tavern Food review

My aunt’s birthday was this weekend, so we all met up at Parker’s Tavern for dinner.  We have been here before for another birthday party, and I do love that they have private rooms for parties of 20 or more.  My family is loud, so its good to be able to have some privacy and be able to kick back & chillax.  We were trying to help my Uncle Ron out of the Doghouse, so even though it was father’s day, this day was all about my Aunt Vi!  I started out with a ceaser salad, not pictured, I ate it up too quickly to photograph.  Cool thing about going out with a bunch of folks is they order a bunch of different things.  We started with nachos, chicken wings and the complimentary bread and all were pretty good.

Our meals came out pretty quick, except for my husband’s, which the waitress was kind enough to admit he got skipped.  We were a huge party and she was doing an awesome job otherwise, so her honesty was refreshing.  His food didn’t take too much longer, although he did threaten to eat my arm if it didn’t hurry, lol!  My salmon was awesome, I skipped the white wine sauce because I couldn’t take the chance that the alcohol doesn’t burn off as it cooks.  It was good, but did seem to need a sauce.  The lamb shank my sister ordered was delicious and huge.   Could’ve easily been eaten by two people.  We had an awesome time, and someone said we needed to be out by 6, but we never wrap up when we should!  A great time fellowshipping, eating and enjoying each other’s company.
