Smoothie Bowl recipe

I’ve been slacking on having healthy breakfast.  I used to drink a smoothie every morning, but its a struggle when its 5 degrees outside!  Had one of these at rooted a while back and decided to try making one in hopes of jump starting clean eating at breakfast.  They are pretty easy to make, just a smoothie in a bowl with toppings.  A little crunch was just what I needed to motivate me!

Smoothie Bowl recipe

Ingredients

  • For smoothie: banana
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries
  • Blueberries
  • Spinach
  • For toppings: fresh fruit
  • Chia seeds
  • Coconut flakes
  • Granola

Instructions

  1. Blend smoothie ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour into bowl and top as desired.
  3. Enjoy!
