Found this restaurant on Doordash, and was so excited to taste it. I love soul food, but am very critical of it. I’m glad I gave it a shot, it was delicious! I had a taste for shrimp and grits. That’s one of those meals that if you can execute that well, you can make me anything else! They were so flavorful and well seasoned. Not too much cheese, just enough to add another layer of flavor. The shrimp was seasoned well. This portion seemed small, but it ended up being plenty of food.
I ordered a fried pork chop meal, and it was HUGE! you could barely see the other food in the container. It was fried perfectly, and very flavorful. This meal ended up being two meals for me, so a really great value as well! You get two sides, I chose green beans and macaroni and cheese. Both were great, paired well with the meal. It was supposed to come with cornbread, but it didn’t.
I ordered ragg fries and wings for my husband, and the ragg fries were banging! I ended up loving those and ordered them again the next week!
All I want to know is, Who’s Mama do I need to slap for these 🔥 shrimp & grits?!?!
