Shrimp Quinoa Avocado Bowl

I’ve been in search of a quick and easy warm salad recipe. This turned out delicious and far exceeded my expectations!

Serving Size:
15 minutes


  • Olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 lb shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 cups of romaine lettuce, sliced into strips
  • 3 cups of cooked quinoa
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • Cilantro chopped, optional


  1. For dressing, combine 1 cup of olive oil with 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar and season with 1 table spoon of Italian seasoning. Stir to combine or shake. Set aside.
  2. For shrimp, heat pan over medium heat. Drizzle with olive oil. Add garlic and shrimp and season liberally with seasonings. Cook for 2 minutes on each side and remove from heat.
  3. Assemble salad and drizzle with dressing. Enjoy!
