Have you ever tried Fried Apples? They are delicious. In WVa, we pretty much fry everything. This recipe is so easy, its something that my Granny & Mom have made over the years that always taste like home! Its also a great way to use up a bunch of apples that are getting old really quickly.
Ingredients
- Apples, I typically use 4-6 apples.
- Cinnamon
- Butter
Directions
- peel & slice the apples
- Saute with a few tablespoons of butter butter over medium heat for about 10 min. I like mine to still have a little bite to them. If you like them softer, cook 5 min longer, or until they start to fall apart.
- Add additional butter if the apples start to stick.
- Sprinkle Cinnamon over it all towards the end. If you would like it sweeter, add a table spoon of sugar.
- Enjoy!
Listen to that sizzle!!!
