Hidden Veggie Spaghetti Recipe
I’m a big fan of hiding veggies in our meals. Mostly because I don’t have to work as hard to get my guy to eat the good stuff. This go around it was shredded carrots in spaghetti sauce. It was a week night, so I used a jar of sauce instead of making my own. After browning the meat, I put the carrots in the processor and ground well. I sautéed with the ground beef as I was seasoning it and then poured on the sauce. I allowed the sauce to simmer for about 10 minutes. I do like how the carrots thickens the sauce a bit, but it doesn’t alter the taste one bit!
Easy, quick weeknight meal, chocked full of veggies.
