Have heard a lot of great things about this restaurant, so I had to try it for myself. I was out in Mason about to get my car serviced and saw it, decided to stop in. First off this location is beautiful. It is really welcoming and designed to make you feel at ease. The designer in me really appreciated that!
I ordered the Tazikis feast with char-grilled lamb and roasted potatoes. So this is the kind of meal I wish I could order everywhere. A salad, protein and starch to keep macros in balance. This came with a Greek salad, choice of protein and rice or roasted potatoes. Everything was fresh and delicious! The salad had a great dressing and came together well with the meat. I expected the typical gyro lamb, but this was different. This was a great quality lamb char-grilled to perfection. So good, well seasoned and well cooked! The potatoes were roasted to perfection, so that they were soft on the inside but had the right crunch on the outside. The portion was the perfect compliment to the meal.
I see what all the hype is around this place! The food was amazing and well prepared. The staff was sweet and friendly. Great quality food for a great price. I highly recommend trying it. It is a cut above the rest!
